To generate more page views on your site, you definitely should use a single image gallery instead of one page list/slideshow.

How to set it up?

To replace default WordPress gallery with set of individual images with navigation, please do as follows:

1. Create a new post
2. Choose for it the "Gallery" post format
3. Upload few images to this post (use the "Add Media" button).
4. Insert the [gallery] code into the post content, via WP Editor
5. That's all. The theme does the rest
